business event : China mission

Stéphane Raison, CEO of HAROPA PORT, Kris Danaradjou, Deputy Director of Development, and Cédric Virciglio, Strategic Planning Director, will be meeting their customers and partners on this mission to the Asian continent. 

So, they will take advantage of two networking events to present the transport, distribution and logistics opportunities offered by France's leading port to Chinese companies looking for port solutions on the European market.

China, a long-standing partner

HAROPA PORT has already forged strategic partnerships with over 300 Chinese companies. 10 operators of regular shipping lines between Europe and Asia have chosen Rouen and Le Havre as ports of call. 

In 2022, 518,423 full TEUs (84% of which were imports) transited with the Asian country. Containers bound for France mainly carry new furnishings, household appliances and electronics, textiles and leather furniture.

HAROPA PORT offers weekly sea freight services to 80 Chinese ports. The goods transported to China mostly include recycled paper, cardboard, wood, chemicals, agri-food products and more.
