HAROPA PORT at the cutting edge for safety & security

HAROPA PORT is one of the most important points of entry and exit for France and the European Union. Each link in the port and logistics chain is covered by application of traceability to all transit operations.

HAROPA PORT constantly redefines strategic zones and procedures in its port security programmes in order to maintain optimum security across the entire logistics chain.

All departments are involved in this at the ports of Le Havre and Rouen. It is this that has allowed HAROPA PORT to become the only EU port to obtain ISO 28000 certification, and only the second worldwide.

In addition, Le Havre’s and Rouen’s port facilities are compliant with the ISPS code (International Ship and Port Facility Security). And a large number of operators in HAROPA PORT logistics chain have AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status.
