GreenTech will focus on key topics such as electrification and alternative fuels, sustainable port infrastructure, the emergence of green shipping corridors, emerging technology/AI, digitalisation and decarbonisation.
Tommaso Spanevello, head of European affairs, will be speaking at the "Achieving economic growth while meeting environmental objectives" round table to be held on May 7 from 11:15am to 12:00pm. Alongside major port players, he will review the projects undertaken by HAROPA PORT to integrate environmental policies into its development activities.
And such dynamic is already underway! This is especially demonstrated by all initiatives on alternative low-carbon fuels undertaken by key industrial actors across the Seine axis, contributing to make HAROPA PORT a hub for energy transition. Moreover, as early as 2028 – two years before this becomes mandatory in the EU – HAROPA PORT will aim at offering electricity connections at berth (OPS) for seagoing vessels and river barges.
Not to forget the port is also focusing on fostering intermodality and increase modal-shift.
Come and meet him to learn more!
