A global event fostering city-port dialogue
Organized annually by the AIVP (International Association of Cities and Ports), the World Conference brings together port decision-makers, local government representatives, companies, and experts from around the world.
The goal: to encourage exchanges and share best practices for building sustainable relationships between cities and their ports, addressing major current challenges. The 2025 edition will place particular emphasis on the role of technology in the sustainability and competitiveness of port territories.
Rethinking cooperation in the age of data
On this occasion, Florian Weyer, Deputy CEO of HAROPA PORT, will take part in the session titled “Digital Innovation and AI: When Data Serves City-Port Cooperation” on November 19 at 1:45 PM.
He will present HAROPA PORT’s digital strategy and the concept of the “digital green corridor”, which leverages data, AI, and 5G to combine ecological transition with performance. He will demonstrate how decision-support digital tools developed with these technologies strengthen city-port cooperation, promote sustainable logistics, and lay the foundations for a connected, carbon-neutral port territory.
Discussion around the 2024 Antoine Rufenacht Award
Florian Weyer will also join an interview with the winners of the first edition of the Antoine Rufenacht Award, in light of the special mention given to HAROPA PORT in 2024 for the redevelopment of Port Javel Bas in Paris. He will present this project and discuss initiatives deployed by HAROPA PORT along the Seine axis to enhance synergies between cities and the port.
