Historical customer of the first French port, MSC Cruises has great ambitions on the French cruise market which place Le Havre among the essential cities of its development strategy.

The launch of this new line in Le Havre is a strong signal from the Company in a context of weak economic recovery due to the health situation.

In addition, the Seine axis Major River & Sea Port and the Urban Community of Le Havre are joining forces creating a Public Interest Group called Le Havre Cruises dedicated to the development of the Cruise Terminal.

The ambition of this new organization is to consolidate Le Havre as a major international cruise port, one of the leaders in Northern Europe. €40m have been invested by HAROPA PORT to modernize the Cruise Terminal, including  the project of Electrical power supply for cruise ships.
