Hervé Géraud, Project Manager for Onshore Power Supply (OPS), will join GIP Le Havre Croisières to present the challenges of shore power and its deployment in Le Havre.
On this occasion, he will share his technical expertise on the equipment installed and ship connection procedures, providing concrete insight into the solutions implemented to support the maritime sector’s energy transition.
The RENAQ project is already operational at the Pierre Callet quay of the Pointe de Floride cruise terminal and will soon be extended to the Roger Meunier and Joannes Couvert quays.
Did you know? From 2030 onwards, all ships calling at European ports will be required to be capable of connecting to shore power.
Held annually in Miami, Seatrade Cruise Global brings together the industry’s key stakeholders: cruise lines, port authorities, tourism boards, equipment suppliers and energy transition experts.
This event provides a strategic platform to build partnerships, showcase innovations and explore the major trends shaping the future of cruising.
