How can ports reduce their environmental impact while continuing to move everyday goods? This question is explored in Ports Verts, an immersive, free exhibition presented by AIVP at Le Havre Port Center from March 14 to August 30, 2026.

The Green Ports exhibition is part of the European MAGPIE project, funded by the European Union, which aims to test and deploy concrete solutions for greener, smarter, and connected ports.

Understanding port issues through play and experimentation

Ports Verts offers a different way of exploring these issues, through interactive displays installed in containers that have been converted into educational modules:

  • drive a hybrid locomotive and measure the impact of their energy choices,
  • organize electric truck traffic on a touchscreen,
  • manage the port's power supply using a tangram game,
  • ensure the safe refueling of ships with alternative fuels.

Designed to be intergenerational, the exhibition allows children to play, adults to learn, and everyone to leave with a better understanding of how ports work and how they have evolved.

An event organized by AIVP in partnership with HAROPA PORT, Le Havre Port Center, and the MAGPIE association.
