multimodality, river, construction : The « chatière », preparatory work continues

On Friday, March 29, 2024, the Rouen Administrative Court gave the go-ahead to HAROPA PORT to continue preparatory work on the « chatière » project.

In its judgement, the court rejected the request for suspension of the execution of the order of June 19, 2023 authorizing the start of work on the « chatière ».

It stated that "in the state of the investigation, none of the arguments put forward by the applicants is of such a nature to raise a serious doubt as to the legality of the contested order".

HAROPA PORT is continuing the preparatory work on this strategic project, which began at the start of the year. Once in service, the « chatière » will participate to the development of multimodality and will contribute to the creation of the green corridor of the Seine axis. 
 

The project is supported by the Normandy Region (€82.75 million), the French State (€23.60 million) and European funds (€11 million).
