A network of Paris river stops

The Paris Seine port agency covers 34 river stops in the Paris region, including 22 on the stretch of the river in Paris itself, across 5 départements (Paris, Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-St-Denis, Val-de-Marne), from Alfortville-Chinagora to Conflans at the end of the Oise river, along the Seine and on two of its tributaries (Marne and Oise).

These river stops are intended to be used for passenger transport, events and leisure activities and, as a secondary use, urban logistics.

Policy masterplans for riverbanks and ports in Paris and on the river at Suresnes

The strategy and remit of the Paris Seine port agency are set out in the Policy masterplan for riverbanks and ports in Paris.  This document describes the existing status of riverbank and river occupancy and contains a forward-looking section on focuses for policy and programmes over the next five years.

In line with the above, there is also a policy masterplan for riverbanks and ports on the river at Suresnes (downstream sector and upstream sector).
