A 12-hour operation during business hours

Chartered by TotalEnergies, the Gas Agility (135 m x 24 m) supplied the Lake Travis ro-ro vessel (200 m x 38 m) with 2,400 m³ of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

This operation involved numerous actors: HAROPA PORT teams, terminal handlers, TotalEnergies, the Humann & Taconet shipping agency, Eastern Pacific Shipping, V-Ship France, and the crews of both ships, ensuring optimal safety and strict compliance with regulations

A first operation since obtaining the “LNG Ready Terminal” label

The Le Havre harbor master's office delivered the certification to the roll-on/roll-off terminal on June 18, 2025. Since that date, it can carry out bunkering operations, by truck or ship, in line with the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) recommendations.

This capacity meets the growing needs of shipowners in terms of energy transition and strengthens HAROPA PORT's position as a strategic hub for LNG bunkering.

Did you know? The “LNG Ready” label certifies that the terminal has harmonized its practices to accommodate LNG-fueled ships by adapting its safety procedures, training its staff, and informing its visitors.
