On the sidelines of the IAPH World Ports Conference, HAROPA PORT and the port authority of Kribi signed a partnership agreement. Objective: to promote cooperation between the two ports to strengthen trade.

HAROPA PORT and the port of Kribi are committed to developing their relationship in order to promote trade between France and Africa. This agreement is based on several key points.


HAROPA PORT will provide its expertise and assistance in:

  • development of multimodal transport;
  • development of tools for measuring and steering port performance;
  • ecological transition and sustainable development;
  • territorial anchoring, attractiveness and deployment of a port-city, thanks to the development of the circular economy and innovative projects;
  • smart corridor to facilitate trade.

Exchange of experience and sharing of best practices on:

  • port digitalization;
  • improving logistics performance;
  • port safety and security;
  • support for the implementation of solutions adapted to each growth sector, particularly for the port of Kribi;
  • Quality, Hygiene, Health and Safety at work.

Staff training are also on the agenda. 
Moreover, the two ports want to identify investment opportunities for French and Cameroonian companies in each port and their interland.
