A partnership to support the future of ports

As ports continue to address challenges related to competitiveness, digital transformation and logistics performance, HAROPA PORT is expanding its international partnerships.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed with the National Port Authority (NPA), the public authority responsible for the administration and operation of Liberia's main seaports - Monrovia, Buchanan, Harper and Greenville - establishes a framework for exchanging knowledge, experience and best practices between the two organisations.

The partnership aims to develop cooperation in strategic areas that will shape the ports of tomorrow.

Working together on smart ports and innovation

The Memorandum of Understanding focuses on several key areas, including:

  • smart port technologies;
  • smart logistics;
  • port infrastructure and technological systems;
  • optimisation of port operations.

Through this partnership, both organisations will exchange expertise, explore innovative solutions and support the modernisation of their port activities.

HAROPA PORT will contribute its operational experience and best practices, while the National Port Authority will build on this cooperation to support the implementation of its recently adopted Port Strategic Development Plan.
