The new gantries will be the first of their kind to be deployed at the terminal.
Equipped with a 100% hybrid engine, they significantly reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, while enhancing driver safety and comfort. Their redesigned cabs and reduced noise levels contribute to improve working conditions.
Delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
This investment, for a total amount of over €15 million, is part of a broader project to modernize CNMP LH's port infrastructure, initiated by Hanseatic Global Terminals following its acquisition of a 60% stake in the company last March.
It aims to support the significant increase in container volumes handled at the terminal since March 2025.
By adopting innovative hybrid solutions and investing massively in infrastructure, Hanseatic Global Terminals reaffirms its commitment to sustainable, high-performance logistics. This initiative aligns with HAROPA PORT's strategy to combine operational efficiency with reduced environmental impact.
