maritime : United Kingdom: MSC bets on Le Havre

MSC has chosen Le Havre as part of the reorganization of its service to Liverpool and the west coast of Scotland (Liverpool, Portbury and Greenock). The new rotation serves the three ports via Le Havre, whereas the feeder service previously served Antwerp.

For these three British ports, this merger of the two lines therefore favors HAROPA PORT over Antwerp as a hub for North European transshipment to the rest of the world
The new line operates with five 4,800 - 5,100 TEU container ships, which reach the three British ports each week, then Le Havre, Valencia, Barcelona, Malta, Piraeus and the Turkish ports, before heading up to Liverpool via Sines.
