Since 2016, HAROPA PORT has made S-WiNG 3D available to the public—an innovative tool for visualising port activities in Le Havre, accessible from any web browser on both desktop and mobile devices. Designed for the general public, shipping enthusiasts and local residents, this application offers a unique immersive experience to explore the port, its infrastructure and vessel movements in real time.

2026: a new generation of S-WiNG 3D

In 2026, the application reaches a new milestone with an enhanced version that is more powerful and even more immersive. 

The dynamic 3D display provides a realistic representation of vessels and sea conditions (waves, swell), based on data collected from port sensors, while also integrating weather conditions, sun position and day/night cycles. Highlighting major infrastructure in “white box” mode helps users better understand the port environment. 

Additional features -such as a search bar and multi-criteria filters - allow users to explore the entire port or zoom in on a specific vessel to access detailed information. Thanks to the integrated history function, users can also view the port at a past date. S-WiNG 3D is compatible with a wide range of web browsers. 

A tool supporting the city-port relationship

S-WiNG 3D is fully aligned with HAROPA PORT’s approach to opening the port to its local community. By facilitating access to information through an interactive and educational interface, the tool helps strengthen the connection between the port and its residents. It offers a new perspective on an environment often perceived as closed or complex. 

A solution developed in-house
