Two new-generation tugboats

Damen Group's shipyard in Song Cam, Vietnam, the two tugboats, TSM Dieppe and TSM Brest, were transported by the heavy-lift cargo ship AAL Hamburg and unloaded at the Saint-Wandrille terminal.
These two vessels, measuring 24.73 metres in length, 13.13 metres in width and 6.2 metres in draught, are of the RSD (Reversed Stern Drive) type. Their special feature? They are designed to operate both forwards and backwards, which makes operations safer. Each tugboat can carry up to six crew members and reach a speed of 13 knots.

Une flotte modernisée de 4 remorqueurs

The TSM Dieppe and TSM Brest are part of the renewal of the TSM fleet, which specialises in commercial vessel towing and seabed levelling. These new tugs are sister ships to the TSM Rouen and TSM Honfleur, which were delivered to the shipowner in 2021.
Thomas Services Maritimes now has four RSD-type tugboats in Rouen.

An additional asset for HAROPA PORT

These new units also represent an additional asset for the port. They reinforce the safety and performance of the nautical assistance services offered to ships, contributing to the fluidity of manoeuvres and the attractiveness of port calls.

These two tugs, equipped with fire-fighting equipment, also strengthen the fire-fighting capabilities of the port of Rouen.
